The Turnstile field helps protect your forms from spam and automated submissions using Cloudflare’s privacy-friendly verification mechanism. This article explains where to find the Turnstile field in IvyForms and how to configure its available options.
You can use only one security field per form. After you add one security field (reCAPTCHA, Turnstile, or hCaptcha), the other security field options become disabled in the builder.
The Turnstile field is located in the Security fields section of the IvyForms builder. When you expand this category, you will see Turnstile listed as an option for protecting your form against automated submissions. Click it to add it to your form, then select it in the preview to configure its settings.

Turnstile works through your global security settings. Because of this, the field itself has a minimal configuration panel inside the form builder, which you can access by clicking the field in the preview.
The General tab contains a single option related to styling. This allows you to apply custom CSS classes to the Turnstile field so it fits seamlessly into your form layout.
The Turnstile field does not include Advanced settings. All verification behavior is controlled through the global security configuration.
The Smart logic feature allows you to show or hide the Turnstile field based on conditions defined in your form. Although security fields are typically always visible, this option is available if you want to require additional verification only in specific scenarios.
After enabling smart logic, you can define how conditions are evaluated using the Conditional match option:
This allows you to apply Turnstile verification selectively, such as only for specific user choices or sensitive submissions. In most use cases, however, Turnstile is added to every form to provide consistent spam protection.
